Plastmore at 4P Syria 2026: Recap of Our IML Plastic Containers Food Packaging Showcase in Damascus

Plastmore, a Turkish manufacturer of IML (In-Mold Labeling) food packaging, exhibited at 4P Syria and the co-located Food Syria Expo 2026, held 26–28 July 2026 at the Syrian Expo Center, Damascus Fairgrounds. The event connected Plastmore with food and beverage producers across Syria and the wider Middle East, showcasing sustainable IML containers, tubs, cups, and lids for dairy, ice cream, chocolate, and margarine packaging.

Plastmore is proud to look back on a highly productive few days in Damascus, where we took part in 4P Syria — the International Packaging, Processing, Printing & Plastics Exhibition — and the co-located Food Syria Expo 2026, held from 26–28 July at the Syrian Expo Center, Damascus Fairgrounds.

As one of Turkey's leading manufacturers of IML (In-Mold Labeling) food packaging, this event gave us the perfect platform to connect with the region's food, beverage, and packaging community — right as Syria's market re-opens to international trade and investment.

Damascus is positioning itself as a growing crossroads for food production and trade across the Levant, the Gulf, Africa, and Europe. Held alongside AgriTEK Syria and the wider Food Syria exhibition, 4P Syria brought together manufacturers, suppliers, and industry professionals from across the packaging, processing, printing, and plastics value chain — creating exactly the kind of cross-industry environment where packaging innovation gets noticed.

At our stand, visitors got a firsthand look at the solutions that have made Plastmore a trusted partner to food brands in 55+ countries, including:

• IML injection-moulded containers, tubs, cups, and lids engineered for dairy, ice cream, margarine, chocolate, and spreadable food categories

• Sustainable packaging innovations, including lighter-weight PP alternatives that reduce plastic usage without compromising shelf appeal or product protection

• Custom in-mold labeling capabilities, letting brands achieve vivid, tamper-evident branding directly on the container itself

We were glad to walk visitors through how our R&D center and in-house mold workshop allow us to move from concept to production-ready packaging quickly — a capability that resonated strongly with food producers looking to modernize their packaging lines.

Over the course of the show, our team met with food manufacturers, distributors, and industry stakeholders exploring how the right packaging partner can support product freshness, brand differentiation, and export readiness. Many conversations centered on Syria's rebuilding food industry and the opportunity for international suppliers like Plastmore to support that growth with reliable, high-quality packaging solutions.

Our participation in 4P Syria and Food Syria Expo 2026 reflects Plastmore's ongoing commitment to expanding our presence across the Middle East and building long-term partnerships with food producers in emerging markets. We came away from Damascus energized by the opportunities ahead and grateful for every conversation, connection, and stand-visit.
